Exciting New Poker Tour Hitting the UK in 2025

The UK already has one of the most active and successful gambling markets in the world, and things are going to get better for consumers with news that some of its biggest cities will host live poker events this year.

The PartyPoker Tour has already confirmed three venues, beginning in London’s Aspers Casino from April 19th to the 27th. The tour then heads north from June 17th to the 22nd and will be at the Manchester235 Casino before stopping off in Glasgow’s Alea Casino from the 12th of August to the 17th. Two more destinations are still to be announced.

Poker has continued to grow in popularity throughout the UK thanks to the wide number of physical casinos found in each major city. The online gambling industry has also enjoyed massive success thanks to the large number of licensed operators. Players can also explore offshore alternatives such as the best casinos not on GamStop UK. Many of these sites, which are based overseas in places like Malta, offer competitive bonuses and a great selection of games, even to players who are currently on self-exclusion.

The amount of choices UK players have makes it easy for players to access poker sites to practice and compete against AI-generated players and dealers or in other live tournaments.

PartyPoker’s tournament will reportedly have a mini Main event where the buy-in amount will be set at £150. The Main event buy-in is to be £500. A separate High Roller event will also be included along with other side games, with a £1,000 buy-in.

As well as competing in individual games, players can also accrue points to place them on the leaderboard where more prizes can be won. Points will be earned based on the buy-ins players choose, how many entrants take part in certain tournaments, finishing positions, and payouts.

The overall leaderboard winner will scopp a PartyPoker Tour package worth £5,000 with other top 15 finishers earning great prizes.

While the tour is open to everyone eligible, 1,000 PartyPoker online players will earn and win spots with the opportunity to play and win at the tournament starting from just 20p stakes.

The first venue of Aspers Casino Westfield Stratford City is located at Olympic Park and is close to the Stratford train and underground stations. The casino has a host of great bars and restaurants and is open 24 hours, 7 days a week.

The Manchester235 Casino is an excellent city centre location with an award-winning restaurant from James Martin.

Glasgow’s Alea Casino is located at the Springfield Quay and is surrounded by bars, restaurants, a cinema, and more and is a short walk from the city centre.

These locations are well-spaced throughout the UK, making it easy for players to access them, and with a further two venues still to be announced it is likely to be even easier. There is speculation about whether the final locations will be further in the north of Scotland, on the South coast of England or in Wales.

No matter where the final locations are announced, the tournament will provide UK poker players with an exciting new tournament to take part in.
